Blog from the super crossfitter

Today I woke up strapped my vibram five fingers on and went out to the patio of my apartment and scooped some eggs from my chicken. I have been raising my chicken named Helen (my first crossfit workout as rx'd) for my gathering part of my hunter gather diet... Paleo rocks, even though it has only been 3 days, that I have been able to go without having dairy or wheat, and whats a legume anyways? my face is still bleeding from yesterday when I cut myself shaving... my doctor told me that 50 caps of fish oil per day is to much, but I couldn't find anything else about that on the msg board.

Morning snack I killed my chicken. I accidentally dropped a snatch on it during my morning WOD of max rds of BW snatch and 50 KTE in 45 mins. I really felt like crap because I didn't do the CFWU and I forgot to add fat into my breakfast...ooops

Lunch was eaten in front of the computer as I obsessed with the latest online discussions... After reading the advice from Jen from NY I have decided to up myself to 5 wods/day. I then watched 3 wod videos and went back to work. After that my coach posted the WOD on his site. (I get notified right away from my RSS feed.) I decided that I wasn't going to go because I suck at DU's and TGU's

Dinner: I had a paleo and cheese sandwich, I felt great so I decided to hit another WOD. I haven't done fran in like 4 days so I will see if my time has improved. I really felt my hyperinsulinemia kicking in so I may have to tame down my consumption of high GI foods by 10%

Post workout: Fran time 28 mins 12 secs.... an improvement of 12 seconds...but I subbed a 400 m run for the first set of pullups. This crossfit stuff is amazing but It may have been because I wasn't wearing my new vibram five fingers, I went barefoot so that's a little lighter than before ( with shoes). I have taken videos of my thrusters and posted them on my strictly video blog for people to coach me.

Tonight I'm writing an article about cvfmd@hi for the crossfit journal and then going to the mall to buy some more board shorts and get a tattoo .

Yes I am a smart ass, but this is what I read on a daily basis cramped into one blog post. Fitness has nothing to do with any of this.... get to the gym and train. Read/watch good source material, if your going to research deeper into any topic. Read with a critical eye. Pay attention to performance, not flashy/ quick fix programs, gimmicks and miracle products... except the shake weight that is the best!
Feel better, get stronger, get faster, be able to endure longer sustained efforts....

PS if you understand all of this you are officially a crossfit nerd.

hahahahaha... nice!

"...This crossfit stuff is amazing but It may have been because I wasn't wearing my new vibram five fingers, I went barefoot so that's a little lighter than before ( with shoes). "

that's the key i think!... barefoot and as little clothing as possible. it'll make things lighter and decrease wind resistance!

oh... and i totally understood all of this... checkmark in the nerd category!
