Description: Completion of the CrossFit Bootcamp is a way to become a full-time member at the gym. The Bootcamp lasts one month long and is based on the CrossFit prescription of constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement. Over four weeks, new members will be introduced to full-body purposeful movements, will be coached on technique, and each new skill will be incorporated into a fun and challenging workout at the end of each class.
The Bootcamp delivers fitness that is designed to be broad, general, and inclusive. Unlike other gyms and training regimes, Bootcamp is not meant to be a “fit fix” but an opening of the gates to lifelong fitness and athletic ability. Each workout, you will be presented with new challenges and an ever-changing stimulus by incorporating many different activities and skills, such skipping, rowing, running, Olympic weight lifting, gymnastics, dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, box jumps, rope climbs, tire flips, pull ups, push ups, sit ups, squats, lunges, dips, back extensions, muscle ups, etc.
Class sizes are limited to ensure personal coaching for each participant. Regardless of your previous exercise background or current fitness level, committing to the Bootcamp for one month will result in increased strength, endurance, balance, flexibility, and coordination. No one is ever asked to do more than what they are safely capable of, and with an ever-changing program, this training approach is motivating, challenging, and a lot of fun while getting you fit at the same time!
Bootcamp Summary:
● Schedule: Monday – Friday (6:00-7:00 am OR 5:30-6:30pm)
● Duration: 4 weeks in length
● Class Size: small groups (4-10 people) to allow for individualized coaching
● Typical Session: warm-up, skills instruction and practice, finish with a workout at the end of each session
● Nutrition: nutrition education and advice provided throughout the program
● Other Notes: participants are expected to log their workouts and progress in a notebook each day
● Cost: $175
● Deposit: $75 is required in advance to secure your spot
